A Selective reliable communication to reduce broadcasting for cluster based VANET

Vehicular Ad hoc Network (VANET) is one of the subset Mobile (MANET) and it a self-organised system with group vehicles, which are capable short-range communication using On Board Unit (OBU). This unit comprised vehicles that possible to communicate nearby vehicles. VANETs rely on heavy broadcast transmission due sharing data (messages) between about traffic, collision so on. redundant information spoils nature VANET affects inter-vehicular communication, rebroadcasting collision. message increases largely as number increases. problem typically named storm relatively reduced through proposed Selective Reliable Communication (SRC) Protocol. Through reliable packets retransmitted reduce in network within acceptable level QoS. The SRC protocol automatically detect vehicle clusters “Zone Interest”. Generally, forwards cluster-heads cluster-head cluster-members. outperforms than existing protocols terms Throughput, Packet Delivery Ratio (PDR) Average delay.
